The Alltesta™ Mini UV-Vis Detector is designed with researchers and analysts in mind. This compact yet highly capable device provides accurate, real-time monitoring of the optical properties in flowing solutions. The detector is engineered to operate in various laboratory applications, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Flow Injection Analysis (FIA), preparative and flash chromatography and many more.

The device comes standard with four different wavelength channels, including 470 nm (Blue), 520 nm (Green), 630 nm (Red), and a choice between 255 nm or 275 nm for the UV channel. Powered solely by its USB port, this detector is capable of monitoring up to four different wavelengths simultaneously.

The Alltesta™ Mini UV-Vis Detector features a simple setup process with a USB interface that allows it to communicate with the Alltesta™ Analyzer or integrate with other instrumentation. It has a low optical cell volume of <3 µL, which results in minimal dispersion even at low flow rates, and can collect data at rates 20 sps for each optical channel, making it suitable for demanding applications.

In addition to its compact size and versatility, the Mini Detector also has zero warm-up time and exceptional light source durability. It never needs to change the UV source while in most other detectors the UV lamp requires to be replaced every 2000 hrs of the operation. The detector can be supplied with an optional connector which provides an analog signal output.

Frequently Asked Questions

It connects via a USB interface, enabling seamless communication with the Alltesta™ Analyzer or a PC. Also analog signal output can be used with any A/D converter integrated in a third party software.

The four-channel detection allows simultaneous monitoring of multiple analytes based on their light absorption properties.

The <3 μL optical cell volume minimizes sample dispersion, improving detection accuracy at low flow rates.

We recommend different optical cells for the applications with high flow rate of the liquid. A custom volume cell is available from the manufacturer.

The cell is mounted with two fingertight screws and can be easily replaced or removed for cleaning.

The optional analog signal has an output range from -1.0 V to + 1.0 V.

This light indicates the status of the detector. Green light indicates that the detector has power, but the light source is not turned on. Violet light indicates that the light source is ON. Yellow light indicates that the detector is in a transition state such as calibration. This light also functions as a button to calibrate the detector (long press) and turn On and Off the light source (short press).
